Real Leadership

Being  a leader is one thing but to actually do somthing for the school selflessly is diffrent. i think part of being a leader is to do somthing that will not bennifit you in anyway but you do it anyways because you simply want to help. So far i think i have done a good job of serving the school. Assisting with Relay for life this past year, attending citizen award dinners, and things like this however i think i could do better. I remember in grade 9 I was to scared of what people thought of me to do anything outgoing. now in grade 11 i feel like nothing is holding me back and i should do whatever i want. i recently joined bestbuddies and i feel this is a good start. Mr. McRae is one of my dear friends and what he said in class is about  us respecting the grade 9's more than they respect us is very wise of him. I totaly agree with this statment... If we all acted how we wish the grade 11's and 12's did when we were in grade 9. It can do nothing but benifit the grade 9's. its so true that they deserve our respect.
